  •  Description

    Works to support district database programs including Enrich, PowerSchool, Active Directory, Clever, etc. Maintains or repairs equipment, troubleshoots a variety of technology problems; Understands multiple operating systems (Windows, Chrome, etc.)

  •  Responsibilities

    Will meet throughout the year for state level meetings for training and LACES meetings. Will work with other LACES Data Clerks throughout the State to assemble, complete and prepare state level reports regarding Adult Education. Works to support district database programs including Enrich, PowerSchool, Active Directory, Clever, etc. Performs a wide variety of maintenance, installation and training to ensure the student information system and educational application databases meet district and user satisfaction. Serves as a secondary contact for the Student Information System. Works with other department members to ensure smooth flow of data between systems. Examples include creating user accounts, populating enrollments, and granting security rights. Installs hardware and software systems; Maintains or repairs equipment, troubleshoots a variety of technology problems; Understands multiple operating systems (Windows, Chrome, etc.); Keeps current with new technology trends. Trains and supports other technicians. Works with district inventory systems. Trains and supports users in multiple positions (Media specialists, computer technicians, teachers, etc.) Provides support for inventory, MDM management, and surplus equipment.

  •  Experience/Qualifications

    Must have high school diploma and prior clerical experience or data processing. Must have excellent computer skills. Must be LACES and PowerSchool-trained, or be willing to take training. Must be able to multitask; must have ability to prioritize tasks and work independently; Must have excellent attention to detail. Ability to maintain confidentiality is a must. Must have good communication and interpersonal skills. Must have ability to work with minimal supervision. General understanding of database systems. Awareness of need for security and role-based access. PowerSchool, Active Directory, Enrich, WAA rights experience

  •  Salary Range

    Grade 11 - $14.84 - $23.66 per hour. 205 days per year.
